WEB Max Verstappen wins Spanish Grand Prix
Red Bull's Max Verstappen won the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday, the seventh round of the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship.
The Dutchman started from pole position and led the race for most of the distance, but he was overtaken by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc on the first lap. Verstappen then battled back to regain the lead on lap 19, and he eventually won the race by a margin of 13 seconds.
The victory was Verstappen's third of the season, and it moved him into the lead of the drivers' championship standings. Leclerc finished second, while Mercedes' George Russell completed the podium.
